Financial Literacy

Under Ohio law, students entering 9th grade on or after July 1, 2022, must earn one half credit of financial literacy as a graduation requirement. 

Under Ohio law, students entering 9th grade on or after July 1, 2022, must earn one half credit of financial literacy as a graduation requirement. The Northwest Local School District offer a semester course in Financial Literacy (Course #5403) to all incoming 9th grade students in either the first or second semester. Course content is fully aligned to Ohio's Learning Standards for Financial Literacy.

The Northwest Local School District Board of Education has adopted Your Money Vehicle as the primary resource for Adv. Financial Literacy (5403). https://yourmoneyvehicle.com/
