More About KCU
KCU is a result of the Northwest Local School District Financial Education Association (FEA), a partnership between Northwest Local Schools and COPFCU. KCU is just one effort of this association. Additional support is provided to NWLSD to fund financial education events including Finances 101/Adulting 101, a life-simulation that presents students with real-world financial issues which they have to solve. Educational programming is also provided through guest teaching regarding financial topics, seminars and webinars on financial education, and seminars/webinars on college admissions and funding.
All deposits with COPFCU are federally insured by NCUA (National Credit Union Administration).
