Colerain Elementary School

Principal's Message

(January 2017)

Dear CE Family, Great to be back at school after a nice holiday break. The weather treated us well, we will see what is in store for us as we head into these next few months. Please be sure you have signed up for our one-call now and our email/text information lines so you will get up to date school closing information as well as any other pertinent information.

I hope you were able to attend the 4th grade concert that was held at Colerain High School before break. The 4th grade and the band did an excellent job under the direction of Mrs. Mitiska and we look forward to the hearing the band and orchestra again later in the year. Thank you Mrs. Mitiska for all your preparation and hard work.

Thank you again to our PTA for a fun and festive Santa’s breakfast. It was well attending and enjoyed by all.

Our annual Spelling Bee took place right before the break. Thank you to Mrs. Schnedl and Mrs. Darling for your efforts in getting that pulled together. Congratulations to 5th grader Kara Easton for being the winner of the 2016 Spelling Bee and to 5th grader, Kyndal Butts runner up.

Second quarter is coming to a close on January 6th. Report cards will be sent home with your students on the 13th. Please be reminded that all fees need to be paid for your student to receive their report card. Spring conferences will be held on February 15th and 23rd. Please watch for information to use our on-line sign up program again to schedule your conference time.

As always, I want to thank you for your support both academically for your children and on a volunteer type level for our entire school as we all strive to make Colerain Elementary the best it can be.

Stay safe and healthy as we welcome in 2017.

Go Cards,

Mr. Climer, Principal
