Monfort Heights students JUMP to the tune of $9,500

Posted on: June 8, 2017

As Director of Youth Markets of the American Heart Association, I am so proud and humbled by the hard work and dedication of Monfort Heights Elementary and their partnership with the American Heart Association this past year. I am so pleased to announce that the school raised $9,508 for Jump Rope for Heart this past school year. This was a record year for the school but it also placed them in the top 4 schools out of 220 schools in the Greater Cincinnati area! I want to personally thank Stu Dapper, the school’s Physical Education teacher, for implementing this program and working tirelessly on this fun event for the students. I also want to thank all of the students who participated, their parents, and the Monfort Heights community for rallying behind such a worthy Mission of fighting heart disease and stroke. Lastly, I would like to thank the school’s Principal – Kevin Gale, for recognizing the importance of focusing on the health and wellness of the school’s students. Without all of you, our Mission of building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and strokes would not be possible and I feel so honored having worked with this wonderful school this past record year. This community’s efforts are such a vital part of achieving this mission.”
