Career Presentations

Throughout the school year, Northwest High School hosts local business representatives to give presentations on career development and job opportunities in their respective fields. 

Examples of career fields that were presented on this year include: Real Estate, Photography, Pet Care, Human Resources, Engineering, Cashier, Sales Associate, CDL Driving - and more!

Juniors and Seniors are able to sign up for these career presentations on their grade level google classrooms. 

Junior Planning Day

Each spring, Northwest High School hosts a Junior Planning Day. This is a conference style event, where juniors attend sessions on career and college development. We host several sessions to share job and career opportunities with students, including:

• Career Fair: local businesses and organizations have tables set up for students to visit and learn more about job opportunities

• College Fair: colleges have tables set up for students to visit

• College Planning: Scholarship & Financial Aid

• Greater Cincinnati Apprenticeship Council 

• Cincinnati Job Corps 

• Citywide Hamilton Internship Program (CHIPs) 

• Butler Tech Adult Education

• Military Opportunities
