Dear Parents/Guardians,
It is with great pleasure that I write to welcome you back to the 2017-2018 school year.  I hope that your summer has been filled with fun family activities while enjoying the wonderful sunshine.  How quickly summer has come to an end and our thoughts turn to preparing for the start of the school year.
I would like to take a moment to introduce myself to you as the new principal of Pleasant Run Elementary. I have worked in the Northwest Local School District for the past 17 years in a number of capacities, classroom teacher, coach, curriculum specialist, and an administrator. My most recent position with the district was the assistant principal of Northwest High School for the past 8 years. I am honored that the district has now given me the opportunity to lead and be the principal of Pleasant Run Elementary.
I am extremely excited for the upcoming school year and would like to welcome the parents and students from Welch and Taylor, as well as those returning to PRE.
