To be on the Honor Roll, a student's grade point average needs to be 3.0 or better. The highest category is First Honors which is a 4.0 GPA. Below is the formula for calculating your GPA:

Divide your total by the number of subjects. For example: Math - A, Science - B, Social Studies - C, Language Arts - A, Art - A would equal a total of 17 points divided by 5 subjects. This equals a GPA of 3.4 which would qualify for honor roll status. when Honor Roll has been calculated, the students on the list will attend a special reward party sponsored by the PTA at the end of the quarter.
