COLERAIN MIDDLE AND TQL PARTNER TO CREATE A STUDENT HYGIENE CLOSET

Colerain Middle School has partnered with Total Quality Logistics (TQL) to create a Cardinal Corner Hygiene Closet for Colerain Middle and Elementary School students. The Closet will be used to provide hygiene items to students with arising needs who may not readily have access to personal self-care items.

The Closet was funded through TQL, a third-party logistics firm located in Cincinnati. So far, the organization has donated the shelving for the Closet and a number of personal care items like: Sports bras, under clothes, toothbrushes, deodorant, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, soap, sanitary napkins, hygiene wipes, combs, brushes, lotion, dry shampoo, chapstick, cleaning supplies, shoes and coats, etc.  TQL has agreed to stock the closet twice a year.

The Closet will be available by referral or request. Teachers and counselors will work with students who have shown a unique need. Students will also have the opportunity to submit a request for items digitally using a form found in their Google Classrooms or by mobile phone. Cardinal Corner Hygiene Closet Submission Form.

The Cardinal Hygiene Closet will open on Wednesday, March 22 and will be located on the main floor of Colerain Middle School outside of the front office, to the left outside library. For additional information, please contact Tracy Adkins via email at tadkins@nwlsd.org
