NWLSD Staff and Families,
Due to parking lot and sidewalk conditions, Northwest Local School District will be on a Two-Hour Delay, Monday, February 7, 2022. There will be no AM Preschool. The Maintenance Department has been working all weekend to clear the parking lot and sidewalks at each school, however the freezing temperatures have limited the amount of ice that can be cleared by 6 AM when staff arrive at the buildings. Staff members are asked to arrive two hours later than their normal arrival time in order to give Maintenance an opportunity to effectively clear parking lots and sidewalks.
There will be no first session for Transitions Academy and RAS students tomorrow. Students attending the second session will report at regular time.
Transportation will be reevaluating road conditions in the morning. If changes to bus routes occur, families will be notified by email and text.
We ask our staff, parents and students to be safe on the way to school and that everyone use care as they exit their cars to enter the building.
