NWLSD Cafeterias Are Going Cashless

Due to the health and safety protocols that we have in place, we want to inform our families that all of our cafeterias will be going cashless this year. Parents will need to apply money to their PaySchools account in order to pay for student meals. All money MUST be in account prior to purchasing meals, snacks, drinks, etc. In the past, parents were able to add money to meal accounts in-person. Due to health and safety protocols, in person visits to our buildings will be limited in order to maintain the safety and wellbeing of our staff and students. Parents can add money to the meal account using debit and credit cards or by electronic check via PaySchools.

Parents who have never used Payschools will need to set up an account to get started. To access the PaySchools site click here: https://payschoolscentral.com/. The link is also available on the district website under Parent Resources. The link will take you to the landing page where you can register. Parents will need their child’s student ID# (which is also their lunch #) to add them to your account. Once the account is established, parents can add money or pay fees using the PaySchools mobile app. PaySchools Mobile can be downloaded on your IOS or Android device. If you have any questions or issues please contact, PaySchools by phone at 1-877-393-6628 or by email [email protected].

*Please note: Food Services pays the convenience fees when adding money to meal accounts. (There are no additional fees for parents.)

In dire situations, students who do not have money on their accounts can access our Feed it Forward funds. Our Feed it Forward account is used in the event a student does not have money on account in order to avoid receiving a charge. Due to limited funds, this account is reserved for students who occasionally forget or misplace their money.

Feed it Forward allows individuals and businesses to donate funds which helps pay for student lunches. Without this program, these students would otherwise get an alternate meal (cheese sandwich). Students need nutritional fuel to help them learn throughout the day. Community members, staff and friends are encouraged to give in order to make sure EVERY child eats a full lunch regardless of their situation. You can help by donating funds to ensure students receive a full lunch if they’ve forgotten their meal, they have no money in their account or if they’ve forgotten their money. No donation is too small. Links have been provided below for individuals who wish to donate. Please note: only schools that are not Community Eligibility Provision status (CHS, NWHS, CMS, CES & MHE) have donation accounts set up:
