Northwest Local School District (NWLSD) is proud to welcome Nadia Hall as the new Principal of Northwest High School.

Nadia Hall has served in the field of education for over 14 years. She began her educational career for Whitehouse Independent School District in 2008 where she taught ninth and eleventh grade English and worked as an eighth grade transitional mentor for the district’s Genesis program. Mrs. Hall spent five years teaching and mentoring in Whitehouse prior to transitioning to an Assistant Principal position in 2013. Over the next six years, Mrs. Hall would serve as an Assistant Principal for both the Tyler and Chapel Hill Independent School Districts respectively. In 2019, Mrs. Hall transitioned to a District Coordinator position in Chapel Hill, where she provided administrative leadership and direction over five district programs. Mrs. Hall’s educational career has afforded her the opportunity to plan and collaborate with a variety of educators, administrators, parents, and community leaders to ensure the holistic development of all students by working together to meet the common goals of increasing academic achievement and emotional well-being.

Mrs. Hall’s purpose and mission is to positively shape the future, one child at a time through the gateway of education. Her educational philosophy and fervent belief is that,
“If we make sound and positive investments into the lives of all children, it will yield bountiful results both academically and behaviorally, thus making the educational system one of the greatest vehicles used to evoke societal change.”

Mrs. Hall earned her Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Texas at Tyler in 2007, her Masters in Educational Leadership from LeTourneau University in 2011 and an Ed.S in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of West Florida in 2018. Mrs. Hall has been married to her greatest supporter, Brandon R. Hall for 23 years.

“We are very excited to have Mrs. Hall join our NWLSD family. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our District and we are confident in her leadership and her ability to continue the work in building a positive school environment where our Northwest staff, students and community thrive,” said Darrell Yater, NWLSD Superintendent.
