Art

Band
  • A student quality or better instrument in good working condition clearly labeled with name. Avoid “$99” specials at big box stores and online. Please consult the director before purchasing an instrument.

  • Appropriate supplies for your instrument (drum sticks, reeds, valve oil, cleaning brush).

  • Reeds should be 2 1/2 strength or higher. Better reeds will last longer (Vandoren, Mitchell Lurie, LaVoz). No plastic or flavored reeds please!

  • Band method book. Students need their book from last year.

  • Pencil and yellow highlighter.

  • Optional but highly recommended: Music stand for home practice; Metronome, tuner, (available as phone app), cleaning/care kit.

  • Please note: Any student using a school-owned instrument will be assessed a $30 maintenance/repair fee. This fee covers the entire school year.

Orchestra
