Aubrey Meyer is this week's nominee from Colerain High School for the Cincinnati Enquirer's Student of the Week. Please help us by voting to get this amazing student the recognition she deserves!
Here is the nomination:
Aubrey Meyer has sought out the most challenging curriculum available at our school, excelling in a full load of Honors and AP courses. She does not just "take" these classes; she masters them through a level of preparation that is rare among high schoolers. Whether diving into complex theories or working late to ensure an essay is flawless, Aubrey is consistently the hardest-working person in the room.
This same tenacity translates directly to the softball field. As a Varsity Starter at First Base, Aubrey embodies the spirit of a true student-athlete. She balances a grueling schedule with her heavy academic workload without ever letting her standards slip. On the field, she leads not just by skill, but by a quiet, steady encouragement that keeps the team bonded even during tough innings and games. She was named to the Second Team, Greater Miami Conference, last season, and was only a sophomore.
What truly sets Aubrey apart is her nature. She is profoundly kind and thoughtful, often the first to offer help to a struggling classmate or to check in on a peer. She possesses an emotional intelligence that makes her a stabilizing force in our school community.
