This morning we met with our 7th and 8th graders interested in playing a winter sport. A few reminders:
All students must be registered on Final Forms.
All students must have an up to date physical either uploaded to final forms or turned into the Athletic Director.
Students must be in good academic standing.
Students were given a calendar that had all open gyms, practices and games listed. They were introduced to the coaches and were told the expectations to participate.
Those interested in wrestling also received their calendar of events.

Our first round of conferences will be held tomorrow from 3-6:30pm. Our next conference night is October 3rd from 3-6:30pm.
We want to remind you that Tuesday, September 10, will be a 2-hour late start day for all students. Please note that school end times will remain the same as usual.
Buses will still run on the delayed schedule, ensuring that students arrive safely to school. However, there will be no AM Pre-School sessions on this day.
*Please note -Butler Tech buses will run on normal schedules departing CHS & NWHS at 6:45 AM.
There will be a total of four late start days this year. Late Start days are marked in orange on the 2024-2025 school calendar.

We are excited to see our 6th graders Monday and our 7th and 8th graders Tuesday! To ensure arrival and dismissal go smoothly, please review the drop-off and pick-up procedures for car riders. We are looking forward to a fantastic school year!
Open House is coming up this week on Wednesday, August 14th from 4-6 pm. There is a fall sports meeting from 3:30-4 as well. We look forward to seeing everyone!

Hello Families-
Just a reminder we will meet in the gym @ 3:30 on August 14th (Wednesday) for our annual sports meeting. Your coaches will also hold a meeting before the season gets underway as well. They will let you know when that will happen.
CMS open house will follow at 4:00. PTA will be available for any questions you may have and KONA ICE available to purchase.

MANDATORY FOR ALL RETURNING STUDENTS
If your student(s) will be returning to the district for the 2024/2025 school year, you are required to verify your information in the Back To School Gateway Portal. This is NOT a re-enrollment and you DO NOT need an appointment.
Please log in to the Back to School Gateway Update Portal at Update.nwlsd.org
The website will request a username and password for each student to be updated. The username is each student’s district ID (the number used to purchase lunch) and the password will be their date of birth:
Username: (six digit district student ID)
Password: (Date of birth MMDDYYYY)
Example: if birthday is January 1, 2018, enter 01012018
If you do not have your child’s ID number, please contact your child’s school.
Cinfed Credit Union unveiled their Community Art Wall at their new Colerain branch on June 26, 2024! Our Taylor Elementary, Colerain Elementary, Colerain Middle and Colerain High School students have their artwork displayed on the artwall! #NWLSDgobeyond
Inspired by this year’s theme of “Reach for the Stars,” our NWLSD students painted what they imagine when they look up into the night sky. The beautiful display is a mix of dreams and aspirations, with each piece of art as unique as the person gazing at it.
