Northwest High School

Last week at Northwest High School, interested students had the opportunity to attend a presentation from Alero Olomajeye, a biomedical engineering technician. She introduced students to the field of Healthcare Technology Management, which includes repairing and maintaining medical equipment in hospitals. She worked for Children's hospital for 20 years, currently works for Elite Biomedical Solutions and is on the Board of Directors for the Healthcare Technology Management Association of Ohio. Students learned about the many paths into this program and got to see some of this equipment firsthand.
