As the new school year begins, Northwest Local School District is proud to welcome three exceptional leaders into administrative roles. Each brings a deep commitment to students, a passion for education, and a strong connection to our community.

Meet Mrs. Lewis, Interim Principal at PRMS

Mrs. Lewis – Interim Principal, Pleasant Run Middle School

With over 3 decades in education, Mrs. Lewis brings extensive leadership experience to this role. After teaching and serving as a high school assistant principal for 22 years across three districts, she joined NWLSD in 2021 to expand her impact at the middle school level.

“I’m most excited to continue working alongside the dedicated team at Pleasant Run Middle School, where I have found a staff deeply committed to building strong relationships and making meaningful, positive differences in students’ lives.”

Meet Mrs. Kist, Assistant Principal at Taylor Elementary

Mrs. Kist – Assistant Principal, Taylor Elementary

Mrs. Kist has spent her entire career in Northwest Local Schools, starting as a Title I reading teacher, then teaching fourth grade, and most recently serving as Dean of Students.

“Northwest has always felt like home. From the beginning of my career, I’ve been drawn to the district’s focus on relationships, community, and doing what’s best for kids. It’s helped shape me as an educator and leader, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue growing and giving back to a district and community that means so much to me.”

Meet Ms. Wiwi, Special Education Supervisor

Ms. Wiwi – Special Education Supervisor

Ms. Wiwi began her career in NWLSD as an intervention specialist at Houston Elementary and has since worked in various administrative roles across several districts.

“Northwest Local School District holds a special place in my heart as it’s where I began my career. I had the privilege of working alongside exceptional teachers and administrators who helped shape my growth as an educator. Now, I’m excited to return to Northwest, where I can contribute to the success of the BEST students and staff once again!”
