Northwest Local School District (NWLSD) is pleased to share highlights from our 2024-25 Local Report Card with the community. The Ohio Department of Education & Workforce plans to release report cards to the public Monday, September 15, 2025.
In the 2024-25 school year, NWLSD raised its overall Local Report Card rating from 3 to 3.5 stars, demonstrating real progress across key components and moving us closer to our One Plan goal of becoming a 4-star district.

NWLSD maintained a 5-star rating
Three schools increased their ratings: Monfort Heights Elementary (5), Pleasant Run Middle (4), Colerain High School (5)
Progress
NWLSD rating increased from 2 to 4 stars
Two schools increased their ratings: Pleasant Run Elementary (3), White Oak Middle (4)
Overall Rating
100% of NWLSD schools earned at least 3 stars (Meets State Standards)
Six schools earned above 3 stars: Colerain Elementary, Monfort Heights Elementary, Pleasant Run Elementary, White Oak Middle, Colerain High, Northwest High
Four schools improved overall ratings: Pleasant Run Elementary, White Oak Middle, Colerain High, Northwest High
Both high schools, Colerain and Northwest, increased to 4 stars (Exceeds State Standards)
Achievement
District percentage increased from 66.8% (2023–24) to 69.3%, just shy of the 70% needed for 3 stars
Colerain High increased from 2 to 3 stars
College, Career, Workforce, and Military Readiness (CCWMR)
In the first year of accountability for this measure, Northwest High earned 4 stars, demonstrating strong preparation for life after graduation
