Ms. Wiwi began her career in NWLSD as an intervention specialist at Houston Elementary before it was repurposed into Houston Early Learning Center. She has always been passionate about working with students with special needs. After working in administrative roles across several districts, we’re excited to welcome her back to serve our kids!

We’re thrilled to celebrate a familiar face stepping into a new leadership role! Mrs. Kist has spent her entire career in NWLSD, as a Title I reading teacher, 4th grade teacher, and most recently Dean of Students. Now, she brings her passion for student success to her new role as Assistant Principal for Taylor Elementary!
Stay tuned as we introduce more of NWLSD’s newest administrators in the days ahead!

NWLSD will once again partner with Colerain Township First Responders and the Hamilton County Communications Center to conduct critical incident training aimed at strengthening school safety and emergency preparedness. The trainings will take place on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and Thursday, July 31, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Northwest High School.
THE TRAININGS ARE NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
To create a realistic training environment, simulated gunfire using blank rounds will be used, and emergency vehicles and personnel will be on-site throughout the day. Community members should not be alarmed by their presence.
“This training is an essential part of our commitment to keeping students, staff, and our community safe," said Darrell Yater, Superintendent of Northwest Local School District.
