Market Day was a capstone project for Mrs. Turney-Smith's Entrepreneurship class. Students put their classroom learning into action. Each student developed a business name and determined their own product or service they could sell. Some students manufactured their products/services some students were resellers. Most students funded their own businesses, a few took a small business loan, thanks to a grant from Empowered.org.  Mrs. Turney-Smith hopes to make this an annual event.
