CHS Athletic Director Announces Resignation

February 26, 2021

Colerain High School’s Athletic Director, Craig Ulland announced his resignation, which will be effective July 31, 2021, at the end of the school year. Ulland, who has been the AD for four years, has decided to step away from the athletic director role to spend more time with his family.

“It has been an incredible experience over the last four years to be a part of Colerain High School, and I am very proud of what we accomplished. State tournaments, GMC Championships, Milestones, and so much more. After 13 years of being in this role, or similar roles, it was time to step away and find more balance. I’m looking forward to reconnecting with my loved ones, and most importantly, being a father. The Colerain Cardinal community is a special place, and I want to wish our dedicated coaching staff and outstanding student athletes the best of luck in the future.”

For the Colerain High School staff and administration the news is hard to accept, but they wish him well and support his decision.

"Craig has done an outstanding job as our Athletic Director,” said Jack Fisher, CHS Principal. “He has demonstrated a high level of professionalism and has certainly been an asset to CHS and the Colerain community. We wish Craig, his wife Kaitlyn and their son Oliver all the best. He will always be a part of the CHS family."

Northwest Local School District will begin the search for a new athletic director immediately.
