CHILDREN’S HUNGER ALLIANCE TO PROVIDE SPRING BREAK MEALS TO NORTHWEST LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICT ELEMENTARY STUDENTS
As elementary children in the Northwest Local School District head into Spring Break, they will be provided with meals thanks to a partnership with Children’s Hunger Alliance (CHA), a statewide nonprofit dedicated to improving food access for kids in Ohio.
Approximately 3,600 meal boxes will be distributed at five Northwest Local schools on Friday, April 8, 2022.*
Colerain Elementary
Monfort Heights Elementary
Pleasant Run Elementary
Struble Elementary
Taylor Elementary
This continued partnership with Northwest Local School District and Children’s Hunger Alliance, which also saw distributions during the Thanksgiving Break, will mean over 10,000 meals boxes have been distributed so far this year to district students.
*Meal packs are light enough for carry for students who may walk home or ride district transportation.
