Welcome NWHS Alums!
The NWHSAA is looking for Northwest graduates who may be interested in working with Northwest Alumni and retired educators in the Alumni Association. If interested, you are invited to attend the next alumni meeting held on the second Tuesday of each month at Snow's Lakeside Tavern 4344 Dry Ridge Road Cincinnati, Ohio 45252. The meeting begins at 7:00 pm; however, if you are interested in eating dinner, alums usually arrive early and place their food orders around 6:30 pm. Come check us out! We welcome your participation and your new ideas!
Once a Knight, always a Knight!
Over the years, there have been many references made to the Northwest Alumni Association, but in actuality, such an organization did not officially exist until January, 2013. In the fall of 2012, a group of interested alums came together and began work on a written Constitution. Not only was the Constitution written and ratified, a group of alums volunteered to serve as officers, spearheading the alumni association in the 21st century. It is this dedicated group who has been involved in sponsoring alumni activities, such as the “40th Anniversary Celebration,” homecoming tailgate parties, awarding alumni scholarships to Northwest seniors annually, and fundraising. Please join the Alumni Association! We are now a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, so your $25 one-time membership fee is tax deductible.
Any alum or present/retired Northwest High School teacher who is interested in the newly organized Northwest High School Alumni Association is invited to attend this meeting. Want to help? Volunteers are needed to serve on the standing committees. Come to the meeting and learn how you can help your alumni association grow.
